Brief pre-recording

October 8th, 2009

Well…here it is, the time and place that we have prayed about for three years, and it is finally time; Feast of Tabernacles, Israel, our new recording, WOW! We are all here in Jerusalem, praying and practicing for the big event tomorrow night in the desert of Ein Gedi down by the Dead Sea.

My wife Luanne and I arrived here in Jerusalem this past Sunday in order to get our bodies somewhat changed over to six hours ahead by the clock and rest up from all our travels leading up to this incredible celebration. In the months of July, August and September I was literally at home less than five days each month. Our travels have been super-charged with the power and presence of the Lord, and many weeks meant traveling and ministering in a different city and state each day we were out!

So now we are here in Jerusalem with all the singers and players, our friends of Messiah Dance Company are here from Virginia, and Sharon Wilbur will join me on the platform as a back-up voice and a featured artist on the song we co-wrote with her dad and Dan Needham called “I will never leave you”. These songs have all been written with a very specific goal in mind. Three years ago during our weekly prayer meeting the Lord spoke to me about this recording. He said, “Gather a grateful remnant from the nations and bring them up to Jerusalem to sing and prophesy over the land and the people.” Since that moment we have been praying and planning for just such a time as this.

Ministry Update

March 5th, 2009

Hello again from right here in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. Our travels have taken us up into the frozen tundra of Philadelphia and south into the traditional Jewish enclaves of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. In Philly we were once again united with family as we ministered at Beth Yeshua, home of the Chernoffs, and the site of one of the first really successful Messianic Synagogues. To my great surprise, the room was completely filled to capacity more than a half hour before the service began, and that without advertising!

There is a noticeable hunger in the hearts of the people to worship and connect with the Lord in a very real way.

In south Florida we came to a wonderful synagogue called Aaron HaKodesh lead by the team of Neal and Jammie Lash, long time friends and anointed leaders and TV personalities. There we consoled our dear friend Rose Price, a Holocaust survivor from Poland, who just said “shalom” to her dear husband Rabbi Jonathan only days before we arrived. Earlier that day an eleven year old son had passed away by no known reason and the atmosphere at the Temple was very sober to say the least. It is amazing to me how the Lord gave such faith and encouragement during the service, and more Jewish people gave their lives to Yeshua at those services than I have seen in many years, praise the Lord!

We were reacquainted with Lilly, another Holocaust survivor from Belgium now living in N.Y. who flew down especially to join us for those two services. I introduced Lilly to Rose in front of the whole congregation and there I stood between two flowers… a lilly and a rose! With Purim right around the corner it’s important to remember how gracious the Lord has been to preserve our precious Jewish family and friends through so many attempts of the evil one to destroy us as a people.

We are working on arrangements for the recording tour to Israel leaving September 28th to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles in the desert at En Gedi. Click on the banner add above to sign up for your seat on one of the most life changing events you will ever take. We will tour from south to north, record a new CD/DVD, and experience the joy of praying and worshiping in some of the same places as Yeshua and the prophets so many years ago. Ana Paola from Brazil has agreed to join us for the most memorable time you can ever imagine. Don’t know who she is? You will never forget her once you enjoy the anointing she carries for worship. Come join us. Who knows that maybe you were brought to the Kingdom for such a time as this!

On The Road

February 5th, 2009

Well, the Super Bowl is over, Pittsburgh has more diamond rings than any other franchise in football history, and Barak Hussein Obama has been sworn in as the next president of the United States. Israel is locked in yet another deadly battle for the right to exist and this is the year 2009. Many things change around us while some do not.

I have just made arrangements to travel to Israel again soon and tape more programs with my friends from Zola Levitt Ministries. I am committing more and more of our time, energies and resources to strengthen and encourage our friends and families living and ministering in the land of Israel. We just sent thousands of dollars to S’derot to feed hungry and frightened elderly Israelis dealing with the constant threat of missiles and bombs being lobbed at them from Gaza.

I have also recommitted to travel to Israel this fall to record our latest CD/DVD there during the Feast of Tabernacles. This will be a very special recording as I intend it to be the songs of the redeemed remnant from the nations over the people and land of Israel. If you are thinking about joining us for this tour/recording the dates are September 28-October 8. Brochures will be available upon request, and they should be here on the website very soon.

Our travels are exciting and the services are powerful. Watch the “flicker” site here for updated pictures of these exciting worship events. And, if you can, come join us for a live experience of the manifest presence of God; you won’t be sorry if you do!

Ministry Update

January 28th, 2009

Well, we’re moving fast again! We started the year, literally, in Finland at the New Years Eve celebration with 7,500 Lutherans, and then we jumped to Honduras for four very intensive days in two cities, Tegucigalpa, and San Pedro Sula.

Honduras, like the rest of Latin America, is full of passionate and serious worshipers. In Tegucigalpa we hooked up with our friends from Ministerio Sabbaoth. This was a prophetic conference that featured this ministry as well as Kevin Leal, a prophetic voice from Pensacola, Florida. The meetings were long and intense with a strong sense of the presence of the Lord. My favorite interpreter in the world, Elmer, was with us from Guatemala. He always makes speaking a joy whenever Spanish is translated.

After two days in Tegucigalpa we flew to San Pedro for a Saturday night concert and a Sunday morning service. These meetings were also strong, long and intense. My voice was threatening to find a new body to inhabit by the time the last service came on Sunday, but thank God, I had just enough gas left in the tank to finish! I squeaked for several days but got my voice back just in time for this past weekend in Daytona and Ft. Lauderdale.

This week I am off to Charlotte to tape for TV with Sid Roth and his program “It’s Supernatural” on TBN and other networks. More TV in Israel in March, and so it goes. These are exciting times; we must be strong in the Lord and the power of HIS might!

01.15.08 | On The Road

January 15th, 2009

Well, we’re back from the frozen tundra of Finland. New Year’s Eve, 7,500 Finns and an event that went from 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. There were guest speakers from Bolivia and Israel, including an Arab believer from Bethlehem who ministered alongside us. It was a tremendous time of worship with a wonderful international team that joined Greg and me for several hours. One great challenge for me, besides the long hours of travel to arrive, was the very brief time of daylight. Yes, only five hours or so per day of sun as we were very close to the Arctic Sea and only a few miles from the far western boarder with Mother Russia. Several years ago I spent a couple days in the mountains of Siberia in November; very cold and very grey…lots of grey!

Tomorrow early we get ourselves over to the airport to spend four days in two cities in Honduras. I am taking a good sized team with me of Greg on keyboard, Don on the shofars, Andy is coming to run sound, and Steve will be the road manager, photo and general go-to-guy. Hispanic audiences are some of my favorites as they are passionate singers and worshipers. They are always eager to receive us and we love worshiping in Espanol!

Yesterday I spent the entire day with some of the champions of the faith today, including Jack Hayford, Dutch Sheets, John Dawson, Keith Butler, Larry Stockstill, and more. This round table was hosted in Orlando by Steven Strang of Charisma Magazine, and was a tremendous time of fellowship and discussion of some of the challenges we face this year in the Body of Messiah. More of this meeting later; I have to pack for Latin America!

God’s Perfect Timing

December 16th, 2008

By Chuck Pierce

God’s timing is perfect. From the time He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt as armies, He set a time order for us to have a mind for increase. I believe angels are released during this time (Ex. 23:14-33). The Word of God revolves around the Feasts. They were holy assemblies for holy rehearsals. The remembrance of these physical events causes us to understand the spiritual significance of what came and what is to come! The Feasts forecasted His sacrifice for us. Also, they foretell the full redemption of His people and the alignment of all nations, which are His inheritance. When we begin to waive the Firstfruits of harvest at Passover time and then receive the anointing to gather and increase at Pentecost (Feast of Weeks), our faith is displayed and our confidence arises for our provision to be released.

Today, there is a futility in legalistically participating in the Feasts. We cannot legalistically keep the Feasts, but we can honor the Father by remembering Him and receiving from Him at these appointed times (Gal. 3:10). No longer do we have to seek an ultimate Sacrifice - Jesus has already been given on the Cross. This broke Satan’s headship over us personally, as well as for mankind corporately. However, we must “enter in” to the fullness of this plan. By participating and remembering the Feast times NOW, they cease to be shadows of things to come. They actually cause us to see our future path to our promise (Acts 17:24-27).

Each of these feasts has a different focus and is designed to accomplish some specific “spiritual transactions” in our lives. Passover celebrates redemption from sin and cleansing from impurity. Each year when Passover is celebrated, we experience again the joy of being “redeemed by the blood of the lamb!” Pentecost is a celebration of God’s provision. Each year at Pentecost, we thank God for His provision in the past and gain faith to experience His full provision in the year ahead! TABERNACLES celebrates God’s Glory – His Presence – dwelling with His people. In the wilderness, Israel dwelt in tabernacles (temporary shelters). God told Moses to make a tabernacle for Him also, and He came down and lived in their midst! Each year at Tabernacles, God wants to lead us afresh into the joy of life in His Presence!

We are about to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. This is a prophetic Feast for God’s people in every nation. This is how the sheep and goats will be determined in the future. The Feast of Tabernacles is filled with feasting and celebration. We must begin with Praise, move into Presence and then end with JOY and celebration!

The Tabernacles celebration is a unique feast recognized by temporary shelters (sukkot, or booths) being constructed and lived in during the week of the festival. The English word ‘tabernacle’ means a temporary or movable building or shelter. The relatively flimsy sukkah is a striking reminder that our lives on earth are but temporary, and our reliance and trust are not in our material possessions but in our faithful and loving Father and in the One who “tabernacled” among us – Yeshua His Son and our Messiah. Sukkot, also called the “feast of ingathering” (Ex. 23:16; Deut. 16:13), is the third of the great annual festivals outlined in Lev. 23:33-43. The Feast was designed to be a memorial of the wilderness wanderings when the people dwelt in booths (Lev. 23:43), as well as a joyful harvest thanksgiving (Neh. 8:9-18). The ingathering of fruits was a prophetic picture of the spiritual harvest that is coming. This Feast is a forerunner of the glorious Wedding Feast to be celebrated when our Heavenly Bridegroom returns for His Bride! Here are some special scriptures to read: Lev. 22:26, Num. 29:12-16, Zech. 14, 1 Kings 8:2-21, Neh. 8, John 7-8, and Rev. 21:1-4. John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt [tabernacled] among us.” Here the Apostle John uses a verb form of the same Greek word that is used to translate the Hebrew word for “booth” (sukkah). May He be your shelter and tabernacle you in the midst of the shaking structures in the world (Joel 3:16-17).
